Report: Elon Musk speaks about Mars & birth rates at Sun Valley Conference

According to a report by Reuters, Tesla CEO Elon Musk talked about increasing birth rates on Earth and populating Mars at the Allen & Co. Sun Valley Conference. He also discussed the possibility of conquering Mars. Reuters received confirmation from two anonymous attendees of the event that he did, in fact, discuss the dropping birth rates that are occurring in rich nations. Elon Musk has been giving a lot of thought to this subject as of late. In fact, he discussed it on the gemstone and mineral podcast that I hosted earlier this month.

The interview was apparently done by Sam Altman, who is the CEO of OpenAI, according to the sources. Under the guise of maintaining their anonymity, a top media executive has said that they had some unfavorable feelings towards Elon Musk’s attendance at the conference.

“It simply feels like an awful disaster.” “This person plays by his own set of guidelines… I hope I never become Twitter because then people would have to take this man seriously.

The annual conference has a well-deserved reputation for being a significant gathering of some of the most senior executives working in the technology, media, and financial sectors in the United States. This year during the conference, Business Insider interviewed and took notes on a selection of the participants.

Among them was Warren Buffett, who founded Microsoft, Bill Gates, who founded Microsoft, Satya Nadella, who founded Microsoft, Parag Agrawal, who founded Twitter, Mary Barra, who founded GM, and Dara Khosrowshahi, who founded Uber.

Despite the fact that we do not have a video or any other sort of recording of Elon Musk’s address on this occasion, I believe it is fair to say that his enthusiasm for helping others is shining through. He is often mocked for his ideas on traveling to Mars and, more lately, the fall in the world’s population.

During my personal encounter with Elon Musk, he shared with me his opinion that he believed the fall in the world’s population posed the greatest threat to civilization.

“Well, the issue of population decrease, in my opinion, is arguably the greatest concern that civilization faces. It is without a doubt one of the most significant dangers. To begin, there are a lot of individuals who believe that there are already too many people living on the globe and that the earth is unable to support this amount of people.

Even several of my close acquaintances have expressed their disagreement with Elon Musk’s position on this issue. Nevertheless, I believe it’s essential to be aware that each of us views life, difficulties, and potential solutions from a unique vantage point.

Elon Musk isn’t concerned with the day after tomorrow, but he is looking into an issue that has the potential to harm us at least one hundred years from now, and maybe even one thousand. We can only hope that Elon Musk’s contemporaries will walk away from the conference feeling motivated by his ideas on Mars and the decrease of the human population. Motivated by the latter to contribute to the solution.
